trying to remove individual items from cart

Hi, thanks for the module.

Im trying to make the shopping cart more compact, and therefor need to remove unnecceasary fields.
What I would like is just to have is just the total amount of products and total cost which links to the cart page or maybe expands on click eithers fine, and then a checkout button.

So what i would like to do is remove the individual items and just show the summary fields and links.

Would I be able to just delete something from the module. Or create a block tpl that just shows what I want to display?
