Issue Summary
Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone has a work around for this. Lately I've been continually spammed by some sort of comment spammer, that's adding /reply to basically all nodes, leading to a page not found error. This of course invokes the search 404 module, so an unneeded site search is performed. This is done again and again, which kinda messes up my site (I block IPs as I come across this).
Is there any way to prevent a search in this type of situation?
thanks for any help.

Hi BradM
I am sorry to hear that, but the scope of this problem does not lie Search404, probably blacklisting the IPs like you did is one solution.
I am marking this issue as wont fix since it does not fall withing the scope of Search404.
