I'm trying to install drupal 6.14 onto a bluehost.com server.
1. I uploaded the folder to the public_html directory into a folder called "differentwindows",
2. created a database, and a user, and associated that user with that db using cpanel.

but when I go to my domain, i just get the bluehost stamp page, (my domain is www.differentwindows.org).

I wonder if there are any bluehost files in the public_html directory that aren't in there, which are supposed to be. I notice some files called 400.shtml, 403.shtml etc. and a folder called cgi bin

If you made directory under public_html they you need to access the site as www.differentwindows.org/differentwindows. If you only want to use the domain name, you need to install Drupal directly in public_html.
