Type default doesn't do anything

I have tested it and it seems that type defaults doesn't work in Drupal 6.14. The content types defaults doesn't change after save/summit the form.
Can anybody confirm this?

Okay, I have to be embarrassed; I haven't upgraded to 6.14 yet (#582942: Add latest SimpleTest backport directly to core)

Actually, it is still in test mode, so it doesn't "work" on any version. I will try to do that tomorrow.
