I am building a website and I'm very interested in some features of LoginToboggan and Email Registration modules.
I think both are great but I've read some issues with compatibility between them. I think maybe they could be combined into one.
Also, from Email Registration I don't really like the auto usernaming feature and I'd rather turn off the usernames completely. I'll hide the usernames myself and I have other fields in the user profile for them to input their real name and so.
For the time being, any advice in how to hack either Email Registration or Login Toboggan to accomplish this?

this is better handled via the support forums. if you are able to report a specific bug in LT that prevents the Email Registration module from working, then feel free to reopen this issue with an appropriate title and report.

oftentimes, when a module doens't play well with LT, it's because it's not doing things 'The Drupal way'

finally, let me make it clear that i have no intention of merging Email Registration with LT -- it's not functionality that i am interested in supporting... :)
