This is a great idea and something we have been wanting to do with the module, but since this is quite a major development, we have not been able to do it yet. Rest assured this is high priority!
acouch, or anybody else, a patch to provide Views integration would be an amazing contribution. If not, we will continue to work towards Views integration ourselves.
The way I set it up on Views Galleriffic is that all of the options you present in the Fancy Slide menu are presented in the Row style options in the view. Does that make sense for this module as well? You would end up having two places to make configurations, one for the block you currently have and one for the view.
Can you download Views Galleriffic to see what I'm referring to?
I understand what you're saying about the two places to configure the slideshow. I am wondering what the best solution is here. Does it matter that the slideshow will be configured in two separate places? What do you think?
Views needed. Just realised that this would be he easiest to implement other than the others which have proven to be such a headache, that 3 days later, Im still looking for a solution

acouch commentedhi Chris:
How would you want the UI to work?

acouch commentedhi Chris:
I think the choices are: 1) not worry the fact that you can configure in 2 places and make sure to document it well or 2) make a separate module.
I would advise choice '#2' but not strongly. It's up to you.
