Am a newbie to Drupal.
Am trying to create a horizontal menu on my site using nice_menus. Everything seems to be working well but:

I would like to remove the underscores from all the links on the menus.
I would like to be able to use none in Administer/Site Building/Menus/Add Menu Item but I get "the path 'none' is either invalid......" (When entering none I surround it with "less than"/"greater than" symbols (do not appear to be able to use these in this box).

How can I solve these problems?

This has nothing to do with Nice Menus, but is part of the Drupal core menu system. Not sure what the underscores bit is about. Closing old support issues without activity.
