Hi,
This looks hard to read so I apologise!!
I'm trying to create a pool team site, where a league admin can create the fixtures, a team captain can update results, and team members can post in the relevant forums.
I'm using organic groups and need a sanity check!
When a user joins he can choose to be a league admin (approved by site admin) , a team captain (approved by league admin), or a team player (approved by team captain).
The league admin can create a new league (organic group) and create the fixture list, add the venues and the teams if necessary.
The team captains (or the league admin) can create the Pool Team (organic Group) and create team players (not all players might want to join the site, so a method of entering the players results must be found without using a user reference field)
Users can join the site and request to join their individual teams (organic group, approval by team captain)
The captains enter the results after the match which are viewable by all teams in the league and members of the individual teams.
There are at least 6 players to be selected per match, per team (home and away)
there are 9 games per match/fixture
Game structure is Doubles, Singles, Singles, Doubles, Singles, Singles, Doubles, Singles, Singles
A single result per game (W or L) and a cumulitive result per fixture (Hometeam 5 , Awayteam 4 = Home team wins match)
I'm now totally confused about organising my views and content types and fields and permissions for fixtures, results and team selections etc.
I would appreciate some objective thoughts on structure.
Each team captain can only see other teams in his league,
I need a view to select the fixture and enter a number of results per match in an easy way.
etc etc etc
Very tired now
Any (specific) help appreciated e.g. a clickthrough method of creating an enter results form etc, organic group structure.
Cheers

Unfortunately I don't think that I can help you. The modules I did are tailored towards team sports (two teams playing against each other). I don't plan to include non-team-sports at the moment.
As for your organic groups setup: I am not experienced with organic groups, so you should try the help forums or look for someone experienced with organic groups in the help channels.
