Only admin can see fields for editing

I have upgraded to 6.x-1.2 and enabled both Nodewords and Basic Meta Tags. I have cleared the cache. I have checked the boxes to show keywords and descriptions in the edit forms and enabled nodewords on my content type. I have granted 'edit description meta tag' and 'edit keywords meta tag' permissions to author and editor roles on the site. If I am logged in as 'admin' I can see the keyword and description fields in content entry form. If I am logged in as a author or editor I do not see these fields. Am I missing a step or is something wrong? Thanks for your help - Nancy
