Issue Summary
This might be slightly outside the scope of this project, but it would fit well with the rest of the code-base.
It would be fantastic to have it so that when adding a node title to a view, you could use node-reference-formatters to format that title field.

Yes, that would be great option. For some time already I am thinking of making this module usable for wider purpose. Unfortunately, I am lacking extra time ... Any suggestions and patches welcome !

Don't need this, just popping in to say
Came across this project, http://drupal.org/project/aef_views_cck_formatter, recently that lets you choice a row style of a cck formatter (I assume node reference), so it might work if ya just want the title.
Personally I think this request would be better fit better an different module, perhaps in the one mentioned above as it is more similair to the request.
