Issue Summary
Especially with the concerns related to the new twitter TOS (#588332: New Twitter TOS affects tapatio deployments), there needs to be good integration to monitor the use of the twitter api. Currently a lot of data is collected but the views for this are not that great (#558638: Links in the tapi view are duds). It would be nice to have some generic hooks in here that other modules could make use of for reporting. Like calling handlers when there is a TAPI error. Here are some notes from the issue queue that used to be hosted on comms.hackbloc.org:
- There should be a way to verify that the system is correctly interfacing while dispatching with the sms provider. We are currently logging all twitter api failures to watchdog, but we need to track success failures and rate of api usage by twitter account.
