External links cause a new IE session to open instead of a new tab. Firefox, of course, behaves better.

In Firefox, external links in my application open a new tab. In Internet Explorer (8), external links open an entirely new session of IE. This happens with no external links module (ie, _blank in the anchor), with the External module, and with External Links. It would be much cleaner if new tabs opened in IE.
