Views and Views Carousel - link an image in a carousel to a node in another view

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows how to go about linking a thumbnail image (which is part of a carousel of thumbnail images) to it's corresponding node as that node appears in a 2nd view.

Heres my set up:

I am using Views 2.6
jcarousel-6.x-1.1
viewscarousel-6.x-2.x
CCK - cck-6.x-2.5
imagecache 6.x 2.0

So far my jewellery site has two Views for a product 'Rings'

1. 'rings_overview_carousel' - this shows all the thumbnails of the various rings available (it is made up of a imceimage field called field_product_pic scaled with imagecache)

2. 'rings' - this shows full nodes - a bigger image of the ring (field_product_pic at original size) with pricing info etc, there is a pager at the bottom so that you can scroll thru to the next ring with Image and pricing info etc.

Right now I can easily link the thumbnail image to it's node which shows the bigger image and pricing info etc but I want the user the option of continuing to browse to the next product in the full node view 'rings'. Does anyone know the best way of doing this? I am fairly new to Views 2 . . .

Ultimately I would want a carousel thumbnail view that links to the corresponding node in another carousel of full-nodes....but will settle with a full-node view with pager

Has anyone ever done this or something similar - is there something obvious I am missing?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
