Description

From time to time I get an e-mail from someone looking for (paid) help related with this module. I work full time for Development Seed so unfortunately I don't have the time to attend such requests, and also I don't know who from the people involved in this module development is interested in providing professional services and who isn't. So the idea is simple:

  • People providing professional services and having good knowledge of these modules can subscribe to this issue.
  • People looking for professional help can send a message to any of the subscriptors directly or post their request here so others can contact them.

*** This is just an intent to help potential customers and developers contacting each other. Nor the module maintainer (that's me) nor the company sponsoring this module (Development Seed) are involved in any way with transactions happening in this thread.***

Since Jose set this thread up; i'll repost here.

Looking for a views arg handler that lets me list "the nodes a user is interested in". I'll likely get to it myself eventually; but swamped. So if anyone wants to take a crack at it - email me at peter@liquidcms.ca.

=============

I originally posted this as needing this for a client's site; but have since figured out how to do it without a new handler and just a bit of Views arg handler code: http://drupal.org/node/294268#comment-2170158

But this is still a needed feature in the Notifications module and i could still be up for providing some funding for it's development if anyone interested in taking a crack at it.

Many of my users are confused and ask, "Why did I get this notification, it has nothing to do with any of the topics I'm subscribed to."

The reality is, someone posted about topic A and tagged it with topic A, B, and C. Or, to use another example, they posted a meeting of the Orlando user group to members of the Orlando, Washington DC, and Los Angeles user groups.

To help recipients understand why they're receiving notifications, I need code that will add something like:

You are receiving this message because it was tagged with the following:
- Orlando Users Group
- Backup and Archiving
- Dungeons and Dragons

To manage your subscriptions ....

This is a paying gig so contact me if you're interested.

HI

I have set the Module "Notifications", and everything seems to work except that I don't receive the Notifications, when ex.: a new blog post is set or edited. Why is not sending?

Do set the email type HTML, Mime, or..., what works better?

Can you help me please?

Regards

Rui

Hi,

I'm interested in paying someone to add the the "Do not send notifications for this update" functionality in Notifications v2 to Notifications v1 - as I need it for a Drupal 5 site. Please contact me if interested.

Thanks.

@ruimacdonald,

I'm afraid you really missed the topic of this thread. Would you be so kind as to delete your post and write it somewhere else?
