Perhaps this is because I have the Print module enabled http://drupal.org/project/print but there should be a way to disable the link in the theme.

Subscribing - have the same issue, also.

Would like to be able to set page icons to include the ones I want, while excluding those that are passed from other modules.

As a workaround, I set Print module settings to text only--avoiding the duplicate icon, but still glomming up my links line with unnecessary words.
