I know this may be a dumb question, but bear with me as I am on a learning curve here. I've just migrated our drupal site to a vps. It's running on Linux with whm/cpanel. MySQL, PHP5,JDK,TOMCAT are installed. Our Drupal site is at home/user/pulbic_html/dir on it's own cpanel account and dedicated ip. I have root access to the whole vps, so do I install it on the vps root or in the public_html directory our Drupal install is in?

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen,

Alfresco can be installed anywhere (even on another server). I recommend you install in its own directory (/opt/alfresco) using Alfresco Preconfigured Tomcat.

If you already have installed Alfresco, all you need to configure the alfresco module to indicate the endpoint URL of the Alfresco web service, for example http://localhost:8080/alfresco/api
