Hi,

I'm looking for a programmer to work on setting up a major media portal in Japan using Drupal. Contact me via my profile contact form if you want to know more.

I'm also looking for people who can consult remotely, especially developers involved in the Drupal HEAD who would be willing to help me get up to speed on the finer points of Drupal security, load balanceing and ecommerce. The project is large scale and will be targeted for tens of thousands of users with plenty of media uploading and sharing, with a format similar to Opus.

Thanks, yes I posted on Drupal.jp and another site http://drupal-jbox.net/. However they don't have a paid services forum and I may have broken a rule by posting, as the response wasn't very encourageing.

Ok, I took a better look at Drupal.jp and the site policy is that any commercial discussion is strictly forbidden. That's a little bit disappointing. Do you know anyone on the Japan team who I could talk to?

I got in touch with the Drupal.jp webmaster. He had a good reason for restricting paid service discussions (there have been cases of abuse in the past).
