After upgrading to Drupal 6.14 I found in the edit Views page my left column frozen.

After some searching I found I have to disable javascript under tools. That's a shame as it makes some other task under views a bit complicated.

Is there a fix I haven't been aware of or some other work around?

And apology if this has been discussed elsewhere - I tried to find the problem in the database - but might have not been able to use the right search phrase / terms.

Thanks for any pointers towards being able to use javascript again.

What is "left column frozen"? Can you post a screenshot?

Additional could you please export your view?

Screenshot is attached - and the exported view.

With Javascript disabled the menu works - once enabled the left column is "frozen".
And this in all the views whether pre-loaded or "home-made".

Daniel,

the file Active_Forum_Topics_block.txt contains the exported view.

It is so long ago now and it seems the problem is related to Java - once deactivated it works - but it's a drag. Java enabled would make life easier.

The central point of any bug report is to be able to reproduce the problem.

This is not the case here yet, sadly.

Given how old the original issue is, I'm going to hope it's since been corrected in a later version of views.

Yes, I guess so, on the site I had the problem I managed to live with the restriction and as the site was finished I never re-visited the issue.
On other the sites the problem has not come up and thus it seems fixed and this thread can be closed.
