The intended behavior is for Total Control to see that a new Content Type was created and add the default Pane and Page displays.

Saving a Content Type causes the same thing to happen, deleting and customization you had.

The bottom line as of right now is Saving a content type will overwrite your customized view displays

Steps to reproduce (Asssum Project is a content type)

  • Install Total Control
  • Customize control_content: Project Page (change the URL, etc)
  • Edit & Save Project Content Type
  • Edit control_content view

Your changes will be over written

This patch will add a test to only add a views display if one doesn't exist of that name and it is a new content type
