I just need to check how my site will work online

Hi there!

I am developing a college website at home for free, I wanted to have it first tested by the faculty and my classmates before we put it up online. How will I go about doing that?

I've tried signing up for free wbhosting, but they give me no end of errors. I don't want to set up my PC as server, that would be a security nightmare.

I just need a trial host for a week max. Any idea where to get that? something like a temporary host for disposable sites. :)

Thanks!

Ren

You may try http://www.0fees.net/ for a free host.
I have tried Drupal and Joomla sites there.
Good luck.

I also do some testing work

I also do some testing work on x10hosting which has a limited but free package.

I would like suggest you to

I would like suggest you to get a low-cost shared hosting to test your site. A very nice shared hosting will cost you as low as $3.95/month only, which would save you quite a lot of time. It's really worthwhile.

Another option is that as you are a student, Lunarpages has a free hosting solution for education, you can try to apply one, that's very nice actually.
