Sorry for silly question, but I tried to search certain keyword using window file search, no luck

any recommendation on software which allow me to search for certain "code" inside a folder of many php files ?

Hello,
Perhaps give Jedit a try? Do a Search and select the "Search in" directory parameter, then specify the folder containing your php files?
