anyone know is it possible to move some posts from thread A to thread B ?

The only module I'm aware of is http://drupal.org/project/comment_mover

oh this is some Development snapshot, and "Do not use on production sites"
it's not safe?

It doesn't look like it's in great shape, no. But that's the only thing I know of.

The Comment Mover maintainer is preparing a new 2.x-dev version. But maybe the current version is usable in some simple cases. You might try it on a test site, or make backups (for example, with the Backup and Migrate module). See Does moving comments to another node work?
For the time being, there is a Workaround to move comments with phpMyAdmin.
