I have multiple user groups on my website and not all user groups have permission to access to the Facebook-Status module. (They can't post status, can't edit, can't view etc).

The only inconsistency is when a user in a groups without accesses to the module views his own profile page he will see this message:

Status
Jim
does not have a status.

As all access is denied for these users, they should not be able to see this message.

I can't reproduce the exact bug you're encountering, but I can confirm a very similar one (and the difference may be because I'm testing the dev version). Anyway, I just committed a change to CVS that should fix this, so upgrading to the next dev (once it gets generated) should fix your problem.
