See attached image.

These squares are appearing next to popup links? If i turn off javascript they disappear. If I look at the element in firebug the text has not changed at all. This happens in Firefox 3.5 and Safari 4.0 and are the only 2 browsers i have tested it in.

I suspect this is by design, to indicate that the link will trigger a popup.

Any Idea how to remove it?

The problem is that in my case it's not really useful, because I want to place the link fixed at the right side (next to the scrollbar)
