Function permalink_comment_get_display_ordinal does not consider sort mode.
If comments are sorted by "Date - newest first", clicking on a comment permalink will bring user to the wrong page.

This seems like it might be related to this issue: #1003848: Bug: permalink_comment_get_display_ordinal() comment mode detection not fully backported to D6.

I have the same problem. The patch doesn't solve the problem.
