Hi,

I would really like to use this module to insert views in my static content pages to make some custom category index pages.

Does this module work with 4.6.6?

If it does not, is the alternative would be to publish a block of the views created and then insert that block in the table wit php?

There is a version of the module for 4.6.6; it's *way* behind the current documented version for 4.7, too; if your needs are relatively simple it can still be very useful, but a lot of Views' better features are unavailable in 4.6.

If I remmeber correctly, the support functios that insert_view uses don't exist in the 4.6 branch of views.module. It would be a HUGE task to backport that functionality in views.module, but if it were done there, this module would work fine.
