This is my first post so I hope I've put the right Issue Information with it.
This module is perfect for a type of Message Board/Notice Board section on the site I am working on. I have already modified it slightly to just allow users to complete the 'abstract' section and limited the size of content but I really need to not allow users to set their own expiry date when they create their content.
I have set the default expiry to 1 month in admin but can't find any way to stop a user changing it to 2050 if they want. Is it possible to remove the drop down expiry date menu from the content creation page or force the default admin setting to apply to all announcements?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This module was really easy to set up for my purposes and works great - thank you. There doesn't seem to be anything else that fits the bill so well.

Sorry to appear dumb but which version now has this setting and how do I access it? I have downloaded both 1.3 and the dev version, installed and de-installed both on a test site but can't find the setting.

Sorry Nancy, found it now. Was up far too late last night (early this morning more like) working at a drupal install - think I'll go out for a walk and start afresh later.

-Dev releases roll up at noon and midnight GMT, so it probably didn't exist until shortly before you wrote this.
