SUddenly duplicates!!?

Greetings,

On a site that been up for some time, i am now getting duplicates in my view results. This is only occurring for authenticated users not for users with much more authority I call editors.

I can give a user the editor role or not and get duplicates or not.

editors pretty much have all permissions.

I gave authenticated users 'administer views' access and have verified that the SQL is the same.

any ideas?
