Multiple people won't be able to edit at exactly the same time, but try Organic Groups. If it's on a small or simple scale then just use the normal role permissions ...

I'm using OG already. But what I want are to make my users (inside and outside OG) to make some documents together. I tried "checkout" but this module don't work proper. So I tried "modr8" but this was not what I wanted. Some other solutions?
