how come this is happening? i cant figure it out for the life of me. all i did was create my own theme based off of the bluemarine theme. i edited only the html in the page.tpl file. it appears as tho some file needs a colspan definition, but i cant figure out where, or why.

What's the actual problem with the live screenshot? All that's extra is the left side block. If you don't want it, disable it in the Blocks manager (admin/build/block).

no, the problem is the central table, notice how the forum display does not span the entire length of the enveloping table, causing text to word wrap and look ugly.

the idea is for a 3 tierd setup, 2 inever much liked the 2 tier site layout. if the actual forum is read, it expands appropriately, but the tabular display of forums is compressed inside of what looks like 2 table columns, as opposed to what looks like it should be 3.

using table outline in FF does nothing for me, i have no idea what file is being called to draw the table out. it is only showing outlines and css calls for said table.

*resolved*

thru the awesome power of table borders and my incredible, edible brain, i have resolved this problem.

examine the initial picture link, then examine my site if curious. this is how it should have looked, and now it does.
