Import User Profile loads autogenerated username into Title field

Using the User Import module, I imported 1200 user profiles and the fields all imported properly.
Although I have a Title field in the csv file, the import dialog box does not show a Title field to match the csv field to.
There were no errors in the import process, but now in the newly created User Profiles, the Title Field is populated with the auto-generated username. I want the Title field to be the Business Name (which is one of the fields that imported successfully into the User Profile).
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

i just finished wrangling with user import module so may be able to help but i dont understand. as i recall for UI module, you need to create the profile fields you need fiirst, then match them to your CSV fields. if you created a 'title' field in profile module first, then a title field should have shown up in UI module.
and if your 'business name' field imprted 'successfully' then why do you want it to be the title field? i'm confused. please explain your steps simply, and what you need to be done.

I do have all of the profile fields created and matched from the CSV file. It appears to me that the Title field is used throughout Drupal for a number of reasons (vies, indexing, etc.) and could be populated from almost any field. This may be an issue with the automatic nodetitles module settings.
I ran an update import just to see what might happen, but did not improve the results. I can manually change the user Profile and place the business name into the Title field and everything works properly...just can not get it to import it that way.
