Documentation problem

http://drupal.org/book/view/5120 seems to have a broken script line. The fourth line from the bottom is

my $filename = $ARGV[0];

which Drupal is incorrectly encoding. There should be square brackets around the "0". This caused me about 5 hours of grief this weekend (sorry, I don't know Perl), so it'd be very nice if this could be fixed for others.

edit page

At the bottom of these book pages there's an edit this page link. You can change stuff using that link, although the changes you propose will have to go pass some kind of reviewer'ish process before it is actually changed in the bookpage itself.

OK. I figured that out after posting here, but was discouraged when the changes didn't seem to happen. I'll wait and see, I guess. Thanks for the info!

Documentation update reviews ?

I had the same problem just now ...
I reformatted the 'Database Joins' page but didn't see any change. I re-submitted it, but no changes ...
After a second look ... I found the Documentation writing guide which explains perfectly what will happen after a 'edit page' action ...

It's maybe a good idea to show the author a page after submitting thanking him for his submission, and that after an admin review his/hers change/update will be put online. This will save some frustration.
