The setup screens don't link to the module dependencies... So I don't know where to get the required "Image Block" module!
There is a "Node Image Block" module -- but this does not have a version for Drupal 6.
Is Gallery supposed to work for Drupal 6, and if so how do I find the Image Block module?

note: This module has been abandoned.
your issue of not finding the image block.module is not a drupal issue. image block module is part of the Gallery2 script and your Gallery2 install should provide for you a way to install the modules you seek.
