currently only one possible type of gallery can be configured in the settings

thus all gallerias on a site will look exactly alike,

if there was a way to build profiles and then assign them to different content types than we could have multiple types of gallerias

No activity in a while on this topic, but I'd also DEFINITELY be interested in this feature. Would love to have some Gallerias with jCarousel and others without, for instance.

would love to have this feature, so that you could have different ImageCache presets for different content types! You could then choose the galleria profile from something like "Galleria: MyProfileLabel" from the display settings.
