Keep only one menu open at a time does not work

I am using Drupal 6.14, DHTML Menu 6.x.3.5
When I select option "Keep only one menu open at a time", DHTML does not work correctly. When a menu item is clicked, it collapses then automatically closes again in an instant.
I have searched but could not find much on this issue. Grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Apparently there is a conflict between DHTML & Menu Icon. Disabling Menu Icon resolved the issue.
