I've been using drupal for a couple of days, and so far I like it, however there are a few things that I'd like to be able to do (better), or know how to do.

-How can I get a new sub-page system for Drupal? Rather than having the links at the bottom, it'd be nice to have a ToC style navigation like Mediawiki, placed above the content rather then on a menu.
-How do I get auto-prefixes added to book pages? Such as
Main book's name: GameName
Sub page: GameName: Information
Sub page: GameName: Reviews
(I use vBDrupal, so this would be -really- nice)
-What about auto-expanding all book menus by default, so its easier to navigate books?
-How do I add new allowed extensions to the file uploader?
-How do I change the names of node types everywhere the name occurs?

Your first question is just a matter of theming. I believe some themes have tabs similar to what you are looking for.

By auto-prefixes it sounds like you mean breadcrumbs? There should be a taxonomy module that adds this, or views module does it, as well.

To change the names of node types, try using localization, where you can basically create your own language by duplicating it and changing certain words as you want. This is the best method and allows for easy upgrade in the future.
