Both a question and feature request if it is not supported. Seems that most module developpers ignore this feature of Drupal core and most of them are not compatible. Trying to save time installing and trying I just ask beforehand if developer took into account and tested private file system use?

No, this has not been tested as far as I know. I can't think of any real reason why it shouldn't work however. FFmpeg Converter uses standard FileField for storage and retrieval of files.

If someone has tested this, please report back!
