File attachments Error

Hi,

I've installed the download counter module to track the downloaded files..

But it requires me to upload files using File Attachment in the Content Management admin module ,

the problem is it returns an error.

warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10001 is not allowed to access /var/www/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/sites/default/files owned by uid 48 in /var/www/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/includes/file.inc on line 572.
File upload error. Could not move uploaded file.

Any idea how to fix this error?
