First of all, thank you for your excellent module.
I have already successfully installed it in a site a couple of month ago.
Now, I'm trying to make it work for a second site without success.
I can see the title of the block, then loading, a image shows for a brief second and then nothing.

Running: d 6.14
Slideshowcs: 2.7

I tried every recomendation I found in previous issues without success,
I copy my settings and images from the "working-slideshowcs-site, still nothing.
Weird thing is that works for a moment when I make a change in the server images, (let's say title for example)
until I make the changes in the slideshowcs block settings.

If you still do not see the pictures, report an issue posting the javascript chunk in the <head> section which says "jQuery.extend(Drupal.settings,......"

Everything seems in the conf seems to be ok, have you checked all the images are accessible, for example pointing the browser to http://localhost/Web/drupal/sites/default/files/slideshowcs/orizzonte.jpg

Is this script included in the head section? /sites/all/modules/slideshowcs/slideshowcs.js

and the jquery plugin: /sites/all/modules/slideshowcs/jquery.cross-slide.js

May you try to disable other modules, clean the slideshow folder and add just one image to see if it conflicts with a module?

images are accessible from the browser (first thing i checked) but can't find neither slideshowcs.js nor jquery.cross-slide.js in the page source head section .

will try disabling some modules ...

OK, so the problem must be the js scripts not loading. Have you tried using firebug or looking in console output for errors?

Please set the module to use the path specified in configuration on the block display too, not the system default file folder

Why ? Because me by example, on one of my hosting provider , I cannot acces the sites/default/files folder created by drupal. (After the drupal instalation i removed "others" write permision to this folder and now I cannot acces this folder thru FTP or my plesk pannel - is owned now by the apache user, the only one with read/ write permission - )

So i used sites/all/files that i can acces . I uploaded slideshowcs an set up Pictures folder: to sites/all/files/slideshowcs . the module reads the files from this folder , display them in the administration interface with the corresponding options , but not on the block display . The block display uses default folder from file system configuration as i see. i changed on /admin/settings/file-system the root to sites/all/files and the block was displaying ok the images )
