Issue Summary
Hey,
first at all, after great issues with the Tac- and other Access-Modules Content Access is very simple an powerful, nice work!
I already searched the other issues, but don't find a possibility to grant node access for anonymous per node. I need it for a File-Type with Bitstream, that's the reason why I can't create a new content type. Further more, other issues tell, that you ban anonymous per node an give him overall access, but I think my users won't "check" that ;) Maybe it's possible to add this feature, that would be very nice,

I agree - same is requried for anoymous access to block content.

Hi everybody,
Let me explain my problem with Content Access module...
I created a slideshow on the frontpage with Views + Views Slideshow, I set the access rights to make it visible to the "anonymous" and "identified" users.
My problem is this: when I go to the frontpage as an "anonymous", nothing appears ... When I identify myself, the slideshow appears and then when I disconnect, the slideshow is displayed yet...
So we can say that the slideshow is displayed to "anonymous" only when they are connected before ...
What to do? Thank you in advance for your answers ...

Drupal caches the pages for anonymous (go to the module administration page to clear the cache) and your browser does so, too. You seem to be caught in the middle...
But this is not the subject of this thread — please don't hijack issues.

maybe it's better to assign this feature request to the dev-version.
Use different Content Types (for the same content ;) ) is a workaround.
