Field groups are showing up twice, or not at all in Panel node

In my Edit Panel, I added a field group called Basic Info, with a couple of content taxonomy fields. When I add this group to a pane, it shows up twice: On the top of the page, and also in the panel/pane I placed it in. When this happened with single fields, I went into the display options and "excluded" them, and this fixed it to where it only showed up where I placed it. However, now, with the field GROUP, if I do this, it doesn't show up anywhere. Either twice, or not at all. Any way I can fix this?
