Description

I'll be installing subscription module in an already running website. I would like to know, if already posted/commented nodes will come under users subscription or only new commented and posted nodes (categories etc.) will come under users subscription.

I'm not sure what you mean with "will come under users subscription." If you're asking whether Subscriptions will start by immediately sending out notifications for each pre-existing node to every user, then the answer is no, it won't. Notifications are queued only when nodes or comments are created or updated AND users have in some way subscribed to them.

If you're asking whether pre-existing nodes can be subscribed to, then the answer is yes.

@salvis.

Yes, I'm asking ==> whether pre-existing nodes can be subscribed to, then the answer is yes.

Can you please guide me on how can it be done?

Each node has a Subscribe form attached (or a Subscribe link, depending on how you configure Subscriptions). Click any of the checkboxes and the [Save] button.

Alternatively, go to user/UID/subscriptions and create the subscriptions there.

I'm still not sure what you're asking — this is pretty obvious...
