I'm currently working on my third Drupal site (my second to use eCommerce).
There are a few areas, specifically relating to eCommerce, that I could use some help with...
- Alternative shipping costs
I'd like to offer customers alternative shipping options (e.g. Standard and Express) which Flexicharge doesn't seem to be able to support (and I'm not in a position to use the UPS API or similar).
- Shipping bands
I'd ideally like to have shipping costs in bands by value too, e.g.
Order value up to £20, shipping cost £2
Order value up to £50, shipping cost £4
Order value up to £100, shipping cost £6
Order value over £100, shipping cost £8 - Product bundles
I'd like to be able to offer product bundles where
- the same item can be in the bundle more than once
- customers can choose the appropriate variation (subproduct) for products in the bundle
The Collection product type doesn't seem to support this.
- Customer data
I'd like customer data to be imported from an existing datbase (a CactuShop store).
I'm currently using Drupal 5 and eCommerce 3.6, but would consider upgrading to Drupal 6 and eCommerce 4.
I'm based in London. You'll probably need to be based in the UK.
Comments
it needs to be ecommerce and
it needs to be ecommerce and can't be ubercart?
Well, it currently is
Well, it currently is eCommerce, and I imagine that migrating it over to Ubercart (including about 60 main products and a similar number of subproducts) would be uneconomical.
Also we use WorldPay, and UC Worldpay is only a dev/beta version (which was a concern when we had to decide between eCommerce and Ubercart).
I'm open to persuasion. But it seems unlikely.
Sure
no question that does not make sense. wasn't sure how far the project is already developed and if ecommerce was the module or a generic term.
