Hi,
First of all I love this module. I hope I can use it on my production site in the near future.
I have a lot of img_assist filters in my content and since I am switching to ImageField from the Image module it would be great that Image Browser would show these images also. Or there could be a way to convert old img_assist filters to Image Browser.

This is good idea, convert img_assist filter tag to image browser filter tags.

Well IBv2 is quite different to IA. It references files instead of image nodes and it relies on imagecache for presets.
If someone wants to post some example IA tags in here we can look at making something together. I won't have time to do all the work but I can chip in with directions. But lets me honest I haven't even written the IBv1 to IBv2 upgrade script yet :P
