I installed OG and OG_forums.
I noticed a big problem:
when user want to post a new topic via Create Content, or via Forums list, the drop-down list of forum is empty, so the posting become impossible, and make an error about the Choose Forum field, which is obviously - empty...
the only way to post a new topic is to get to the group, and then to the group forum, and post.

how can i solve this problem?
in one hand, i want to let my users see the list of the forums (which contains link to "post new forum topic"), but in the other hand - this link leads to the problem i mentioned.

The Forum field is empty because you have not created any forums yet. When you create an OG group, for every group a new forum is created with the Default name 'General Discussion'.

If you want to have a separate forum, other than these groups forum, then , just go to Administer>> Content Management>> Taxonomy "( /admin/content/taxonomy/)" . Then "Add terms" for - Forums.

These terms will be displayed, the next time when you have to select the 'Forum' For forum topic.

Also note that, 'Forum Topic is the Content type linked with this 'Container - (forum)' .' That is the reason why we have 'Create new forum topic' within Groups.
