I am not too sure where the problem is coming from but, I am unable to save a new import profile. Where this causes even more of a problem, is that I am also having trouble importing html but, in order to see the debugging info I need to set the debug level in the profile....

Overall, I *think* I am doing everything correctly as I used to run a drupal 5 site and used the 5.X version of import HTML without any problems. I have tried using both the 6.1.x and the dev versions of the module and get the same result.

Anybody have any ideas on this? I have tried running different versions, but still can't save a new import profile.

My comment would be to rename the option "Import Profiles" to just "Profiles" or perhaps "Maintain Profiles" as I initially thought that in this case "import" was a verb and I could import/export profiles from the module. The option goes to a maintenance page, so maybe "maintain" as the link would help the newbies.

Thanks!

Good spotting. I'd not noticed this ambiguity :-B
Maybe "Manage profiles". "Maintain" seems a little more long-term and too much like work.

I like it! Yes, that is even simpler language. Thanks for a cool module, I'm really hoping to get our site to import. We have over 1600 CFM files to import, with varying levels of invalid markup.

I've updated the menu label - in dev anyway.
I don't think this addresses the OP, but haven't been able to replicate ... in -dev.

FWIW, I've significantly revamped the way extra profiles are managed in the UI in the current -dev. Following some suggestions from #697330: UI overhaul they are tabs, less prominant, and the help text hopefully clears their use up a little bit.
