Issue Summary
Hi there,
after upgrading to 1.2 seems that something wrong happened. I'm no more able to choose any tags on the administration.. see http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/24/nodewords.png ...
I'll dive into the code next days to see what's wrong but I thought to leave a message here just in case anyone has some ideas..
Thanks,
Fabio Varesano

Enable at least basic nodewords module and clean your cache, then visit settings page again.

I had the same "problem" with a fresh install of 6.x-1.2
I Installed and enabled nodewords, setup the correct permissions, but failed to enable the "basic meta tags" module.
After enabling "basic meta tags", I still found that there were no meta tags on the Nodewords admin page.
Clearing the cache solved the issue.

same here, recheck /admin/content/nodewords after enabling basic meta submodule + cleared cache
