Custom Form API module required

bobby20 - October 13, 2009 - 22:05

I have installed drupal and it is working well on my computer at localhost/drupal 6.10

I am now looking for someone to write me a custom form api module that features an attractive search facility. The form should list 3 categories (Brand, Type and Model) in the search. This search facility will be the main feature of the site and should look impressive from a themeing point of view, so a good knowledge of themes is also required. Any one up for this task? I will pay handsomely.

Have you looked at the

Have you looked at the Faceted Search module, with theming it may easily meet your needs.

I need help and advice

I am sorry That I am not able to respond straight away. I have to do this in between work.

I guess what I am looking for is for someone to advise me on the best module to use for database search and how best to theme it so that it is attractive and impressive. I thought the UI would be in block form and dominate the home page. Rounded corners springs to mind with two categories of drop down options and a text field for input of model number.

So what I am looking for is someone who can:
1. advise me
2. write a program/module if necessary
3. good at teeming

So as I have said, I will pay handsomely for a Consultant/ Helper/Programmer. Please contact me if you think you can help. I have a clear idea of what I want but not sure how to achieve it.

Try views..

Hi Bobby,

I think you should use views. I think "two categories of drop down options and a text field for input of model number" can be achieved by exposed filters. Views also provide block view and/or page view. which means you can have the results output on a page(which is the normal choice for most views) or you can also show them in a block.

I could have provided more help if your site were online.

Any way good luck.
