Hi

I noticed that gray background without info and image is because hquery cycle plugin.
But this will be really nice to do some workaround for it, and show image and text although the only one item is in the list.

how it works in views_slideshow_ddblock, is there gray background with no text and photo if there is only one item in view list?

Thanks for your feature request. (I think this is a useful feature)
Will try to develop a solution for this in next dev versions of both modules.

I think this can be done in jquery. When only one slide available, not to enable the cycle functionality.
Although have to think about what to do with pagers.
Maybe not show any pagers is a good solution.

Suggestions appreciated.

IMHO no paging will be the best. It will be pretty and clean solution. One image with text, no redundant paging.
Disable jquery while there will be only one item could be quick and simply solution.

I have a working version of DDblock but when there is only one item i see nothing. Is this the same issue? How can i make it work with one item in the list also?
