Allow customization of "gotcha" message.

Description

Currently when someone attempts to post in a "protected area" when hashcash is active, you get this message:

"Your hashcash string is not valid. Are you a spammer?"

It would be very useful to be able to customize that message. For example, many of the readers of my site regularly browse the web with javascript disabled because they consider it a security risk. They aren't spammers, and might be willing to enable Javascript for my site, and I'd like to have a "kinder, gentler" message for them.

It's easy enough to modify the message in the php scripts but that gets overwritten any time hashcash is updated. Is there a way to add a little text box in the Hashcash settings that would let a site admin store their own error message? That way I could put in something like "This site uses Hashcash to deter blog spam. If you wish to post comments or content on this site your web browser must have Javascript enabled. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Anyway, just a thought.

I've added something along those lines to 6.x-2.3.

If a user now visits a site with JS disabled, then any protected form will have its submit button disabled, and a polite (configurable) warning message will be displayed.
